We are very much looking forward to our new 32TSBH! My wife and I were emptying out the ol' Springdale today......I can't believe how much stuff she had crammed in that thing! It was +3 today but 10-15cm of snow tomorrow I wish we could have parked the two trailers side by side to swap stuff but not gonna happen. It's a good time to go thru everything and 'purge'.

We too just purchased the 32 tsbh and cannot wait to hit the road! We opted for the outdoor kitchen believing the trade off in space was worth this feature. We are also new to Jayco but had friends who swear by this brand...so in we dove! Happy camping and hopefully we can share our first year experiences on this forum.

We did the same opting for the outdoor kitchen. It'll keep alot of the mess outside and help organize some clutter that doesn't need to be in the main kitchen. Do you have any idea what size fridge is mounted it the outdoor kitchen? I know it's 110v only so I'm curious to know if I can run it off a small inverter if need be and how much it would draw. Maybe not a good idea but I'm curious....
The rear bunk room will be great for the kids and family that always seem to "tag along"
Our first trip with our new trailer will be a 3 week journey from Ontario thru the US to Vancouver BC and back home. Can't wait!

Wow! Your first excursion sounds fantastic! We are going to take several small trips before we head out west through Colorado for three weeks this summer.

We agree that the outdoor kitchen should save some fuss indoors when cooking...we hope! As for the outdoor refrigerator, I'm not sure about running on an inverter, being a newbie myself, and I will have to look up the cubic size of the fridge. Sorry.

We too were drawn to the bunk room for kids, dogs, and other loved ones who hopefully join us on our travels. We are very eager to get on the road, but local weather has been cold and slushy with few campgrounds open. We have read many experienced campers advise the first "shakedown" take place in your driveway, but unfortunately that is not an option for us. Tempted to ask our dealer if we can "camp" there just to get started! :hihi:

Just curious as to what you would plug the inverter into while traveling down the road? We have the outside kitchen on our 29L and we both LOVE it and it has proven to be very handy, useful. You only lose one bunk and you gain extra coutertop space, and extra cabinet, fridge sink etc. With the dinette and the couch convertable into a sleeping area, we didn't hesitate to lose one bunk in the bunkhouse.

I was pondering the thought of running a dedicated 12V supply from my truck to the trailer to run a small inverter to power the outdoor fridge and charge a few other things while in transit. I have a little 400W inverter that would work just not sure how much that little fridge would draw and if it's ok to be when in motion. I think the fridge is a 3.0 cubic ft Danby but I can't seem to find the elec requirements for it. Maybe i'll just wait till the trailer arrives and worry about it then and try it out

Man o Man i was a year too early buying our 2012 32BHDS. I LOVED the 2 back slides on the TSBH but wanted the outdoor kitchen more. Now they have them both! O well we still love our camper!!

Just found out today we take delivery of our new 32tsbh April 23! Can't wait. We still have about a foot of snow on the ground but I'm anxious to get it all packed up and ready to go. Most of our inland lakes are still frozen over...come on sun...do your thing!

Congrats on your new Jayco purchase. Waiting for a TT to arrive is as painful as waiting for spring. LOL!!!

While waiting for your new TT to arrive, may I suggest investigating common mods (modifications) and for your unique situation and where needed, start budgeting for them.

If wondering, the common mods are:
- Roof vents. White over the bathroom and black over the bedroom area.
- Tinted windows in the bedroom area
- Surge Protection. Suggest http://www.progressiveindustries.net/ssp_30.htm at the Service Post and next time visiting USA (Camping World location), buy the much better inside http://www.progressiveindustries.net/ems_hw30c.htm device. Thus, getting 2 x Tier Surge Protection. Buy/Install wall outlet Surge Protection devices to create a 3 x Tier system.
- Install clear 12V LEDs or 12V university licence plate light (at Canadian Tire store) on the steps. If wondering, I installed this mod and its "only shine light on the stairs" works great.
- If needed, install whole house water filter under the kitchen cold water sink. The whole house system ( example: http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/watts-bi...FYZaMgody1MARA ) will last for years and years. This DIY upgrade can be done using low cost PEX Piping / Clamp method.
- If needed, install 35 Watt automotive fog lights under the rear bumper (outer edges) and connect to 12V manual off/on switch with in-line fuse. When you want to backup in a tight spot in the dark, simply flip the light on. Much better lighting - compared to a spotter holding a weak flashlight.
- Perhaps another shelf or towel holder in the bathroom?

Also… Look at your new TT's Hot Water tank area. If installed in a storage compartment and this compartment allows space for other storage items, do consider installing a protection screen around the HW tank. Thus, stopping the other stuff from hitting (sliding against) your HW tank during panic stops. This wire mesh can be galvanized wire mesh that many folks use for Rabbit cages. And, this wire is found at most local hardware stores as well. If wondering, I installed a wire cage upgrade around my TT's HW tank (being 4" away from the tank). Easy DIY install - to improve its proactive safety.

Lots of little thanks that can bring more safety improvement and enjoyment to your TT.

So we found out today our new 32tsbh is at the dealer and we can pick it up May 9th. The dealer wanted some time to go over it and make sure it is perfect....is that normal? Are there any special questions I should be asking when they go over the trailer with us? (this is our 1st new trailer) Snow is still a foot deep in the field here so I don't mind wating another week and a bit. The DW and 2 DD's are getting very excited!
