New to Jayco

This is our first Jayco trailer. A 2011 Jayco 197 Feather Sport.
What, if any problems should we be looking for?
Our last trailer was 4 years of on going problems.
We have only used it once so everything is new to us.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum mnimport! Congrats on the new tt. One thing, if you haven't used the heater yet, make sure you run you heater a couple of hours before you head out camping in colder weather. The smell has a tendency to set off the smoke alarm. Definitely take paper and pencil with you to start a "warranty list".

Take her out and try her out. You may be surprised there are no problems. :hihi:

Take it out and play with it!!
Don't nit pick it!! You have a warranty, if it just sits you won't know if you even have a "problem."
Everything has its own "issues." I am having water issues with mine, I don't let it sit!!
I love the camp!

We purchased our first TT and first Jayco in Apr, we have camped about 6 times and yet to have a problem. Only thing i cannot get to come on is the furnace and might be due to being too hot. Thought we had a black tank leak but after flushing it well and installing a Tornado no problems!

Welcome, mnimport. The only problem I am having with mine is the dust build-up from not getting to use it enough.
