New trailer being built tomorrow!

Got a call from the Jayco factory today. They told us that our new 31RKS will be built tomorrow. We are really excited after waiting three weeks! Another week and a half for it to get here. We have owned many RV's in the past, everything from pop-ups to a Motor Home and a fifth wheel, but this is the first RV that we have purchased brand new, so it'll be an experience.

That's really exciting. Congratulations. Does the factory call everyone before their trailer is built?

I don't think so. My wife had a last minute change that she wanted, so I called the dealer day before yesterday. He in turn had the factory rep call me so that they would get it exactly as we wanted it. Still, superior customer service IMHO.

We bought ours new from the dealer's stock and did the paperwork brought it home and went camping the next day. We want to go out so bad, but on the "Wet Coast" it is either pouring rain or below freezing, Right now it is 29F and a wind chill to 18F. Saturday calling for a couple inches of snow then Monday next week it goes to 48f and rains for 5 days. 3 more weeks and look out Tucson here I come. We are going out for the Easter weekend and hoping the weather will get better when we get home for a weekend away.

Healthi, our trailers were made just days apart. Ours was built 9-30-09 and we picked it up 10-16. I did get a call from the dealer a few days before it was made to arrange the pick up date. -Lee
