New TT owner. Need dump hose recommendations

Hello there. We just recently purchased our first travel trailer and it will be delivered sometime in the next two weeks. They say that it comes with a starter kit including a sewer hose but the gal told me I may want to order a better one as it is just a starter hose. Looking for some recommendations for another one to order as we are going on our first trip shortly after we receive the trailer. Want to be prepared! Thank you!

Congrats on the new trailer!

We carry this 15' Rhinoflex in the bumper along with the cheap 10' one that came with the "starter kit" just in case. Both fit in our rear bumper just fine:

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39770-R.../dp/B01HPHR2M4

I would also recommend a clear elbow such as this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39080-R...s+-+45+fitting

With the clear fitting you can easily tell when your black tank is rinsed good before moving onto the grey tank. If your trailer is smaller like ours and doesn't have a built-in black tank flush the attachment on this clear fitting will allow you to quickly and easily get a good rinse of the black tank after dumping.

Thank you so much, ttavasc!! Really appreciate the help. The clear attachment is genius! Will definitely order that.

The Rhino is really popular but I have a Sewer Solution. I can move sewage 30' or more and uphill if needed. I'm a big fan. The downside is some folks say it uses too much water but I've never heard that complaint first hand in5 years.
Enjoy your new TT!

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to the group! Another Rhino fan here. I bought a kit with a 15 foot and a 10 foot section that join if needed. Never needed anything more...

Rhino fan here too. We also have the clear elbow connections. I would also recommend getting some support stands for your hose. They are really helpful when the ground your hose sits on and the sewage connector at the campsite is uneven.

As other's have said, I'd go with the Rhino. It's pretty tough. I'm starting my 4th season with the Rhino. Hardly looks used.

Last year, I did buy a Rhino extension. Once during the season, I was at the extreme end of my regular Rhino hose.

I also concur in getting a clear elbow extension. It lets you know how clean, or not clean, the stuff is coming out of the black tank.

Another vote for Rhino and clear adapter. Also the support stand is a must for some camping areas. Congrats on the new trailer!

RhinoFlex here as well. I'm in my 7th year with this hose. I have a 15ft and a 5ft extension which both fit nicely in the rear bumper.

Welcome to JOF and congratulations on the new TT. ttavasc gave you an excellent recommendation. The clear elbow helps you make sure water is running clear, especially from the black tank.

We purchased a Rhino Flex when we picked up our camper. The only problem with it is it doesn't fit into the built in round storage tube on our Skylark. We keep the dump hose and throw away gloves in a Rubber Maid tub in the storage compartment. Even so, I would buy another one if anything happens to this one.

Rhino plus this. Even with my built in black tank flush valve I use this to also clean my grey tank and sewer hose.

Rhinoflex kit, with the caps and semi-clear 90, also bought the Rhino clear fitting with hose attachment. I store it all in a small black tote with a box of disposable gloves stuck to the lid.
