Newbie here

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a oilfield mechanic working out in South eastern New Mexico. I just recently purchased a 2017 JayCo Feather 23RLSW. Hope I can learn new things about my trailer and meet new people.

Welcome to the forum. I am a member of a few forums and this is by far the best and most friendly. Often you can get answers within a few hours as there are a lot of regulars who monitor the site. Congrats on the new purchase. If this is your first trailer I suggest you educate yourself on proper loading and avoiding trailer sway. Safety first!

Thanks for all the replies. Yea I'm pretty excited. I'll be pulling out to west Texas and pretty staying out there for a while so I won't be moving it a lot. Anything I need to do or watch out for while pulling?

congrats on the new jayco and welcome to the forum! having a good weight distribution hitch with sway control makes a huge difference on those windy days. the trailer can push you around without warning in a hard cross wind.
