Newbie question about blinds, single not double.

Two of the blinds in my 2010 Eagle 32 footer, do no come down far enough to completely cover the window, thus, a peeping Tom cold sneak up and look at the very bottom and see us. I know....I impersonated one a few mins ago.

I did a search but they were all about restringing, being crooked or everything else BUT not coming down far enough. The screw to the left and right on the bottom that the strings attach to are already pretty low on the valance. So not enough room to lower the screws but maybe 1/4 inch.

Looks to me like the ONLY way is to lower the entire valance? Hope not, but doesn't look like the strings can go lower and below the screws.

Any ideas? Thanks

My guess is if you want the blinds to go lower, you will have to move the bottom mounts to the wall. That is how my larger window shades are mounted. You will have to be careful as the wall is pretty thin. I already have had two pop out and had to have the dealer fix them.

I got it. Only way is to lower valance. Which was very easy. 4 screws, lower one inch, blinds and all attached and done deal. They just had them to high above the window frame.
