*Newby question* Is my salesman correct....?

While I was getting my "walkthrough" for our 2013 White Hawk 28DSBH I was told I have 2 grey water holding tanks. I asked him what the capacity of those tanks were. His reply was that I have 2 grey water tanks at 35 gallons each. Hummmmm.....I thought I had a total of 35 for grey water somewhere around 17.5 each. The bottom of the trailer is enclosed so just taking a look isn't an option for me. Can anyone clarify this please?

You have two grey tanks. I don't know the sizes, but there's one that is strictly for the kitchen sink. That's smaller. The larger grey tank is for the bathroom sink and shower.

Thanks for the feedback Crabman and cm11599ps. You are correct Crabman 45 gal not 35 gal. We have not used the camper yet so the tanks are still newly clean. I am tempted to fill each grey tank with 5 gallon buckets of clean water until the monitor registers full. At least this way I will know the capacities for sure.......I will keep ya'll updated.

Pardon the "pun" but the capacities can be a grey area. The water heater and lines are figured in the capacity and "full" on the gauges will not be as accurate as we all want.

You could still get some good info of how much water you can get in the tanks for later use. I would fill the grey tanks until it backs up the kitchen drain and shower stall. Then you will know for future reference how much it really holds. Also you can identify which drain pull is for which tank.

Caution, make sure the water heater is full before you turn it on.

Sure, that will give you an idea of how big each tank is but that's all. No offense, but it's really a pointless thing to do. Say it takes 3 five gallon buckets to fill your kitchen grey tank. That's fine so you know your tank is about 15 gallons but it means nothing to you because you don't know how quickly it fiis up in a real world scenario.

I have a 32TSBH and when at the dealership I noticed it had two grey water valves. Salesman had no idea, but said it had two grey water tanks! Uh, yeah. crawled underneath and found a regular 35 gl tank under bath and a small 10 gallon further aft. tracing drain lines, I
found the small tank is for the outside kitchen sink only.
