Yeah, Chattahoochee Bend seems to have pretty good reviews, as do most GA state parks. We are actually planning to do our shakedown there we live in the metro area. Only negative I see is no sewer hookup.

Chattahoochee Bend would be fine. RVC Out Doors in Pine Mountain, GA is @ 45 miles from Newnan and It does have full hookups. West Point Lake in Lagrange has only one CG open this this time of year. (Shaffer-heard) I live in Newnan and could help you with a pm

If you live in Marietta, McKinney on Allatoon is beautiful. Corp of Engineer Campgrounds generally have clean bathrooms. We did our shakedown at Victoria, also Allatoona but closedfor winter and not open until March 2016.
