Norcold fridge N611 heater

Hello. I have a good one for you! While camping over the 4th of July our fridge would not light on propane. it worked fine on electric. After looking into it, I discovered that the circuit board was fried. I ordered a new one, installed it and wa la... it worked! later I switched it over to electric (auto) to save the propane and it switched back to propane and the lights blinked 3 times. The fault code says it now the AC (electric) Heater failure. Not owner serviceable. Called the dealer and they are booked out 2 months and we have a big trip to Niagara Falls coming up. There has got to be something I can do??? I check the 5 amp fuse on the circuit board and the circuit breaker and both are fine. Any Ideas??

Start: "How tough will it be to run 100% on propane until proper repairs can be effected?"

Do you own a DVM or VOM? Check continuity on the heater.

I would suspect that if the board was blown, the heater may have taken a hit too.

If I'm not mistaken, replacing the electric heater involves disassembling the gas burner and chimney.
