You learn more by mistakes than by having initial success.

We camp at a lot of places without water hookups. We fill the tank when we get to camp. If we have not camped for a while, I drain the water heater, so the water does not get stinky. Well, more than once, I have been fully setup and realized, I did not fill the FW tank. That is a lot of 6 gallon jugs to fill, carry, pour, spill.

If you ever figure out how not to have tangled dog lines that can still cross, you will be filthy rich.

Nice looking campsite, looks like your picnic table had a nice cover over it.

As long as the trips for repair supplies don't happen during the rides to or from the campsite!

I enjoy doing upgrades, fixes, mods, etc. when we are camped.

By the side of the road? Not so much. Once was enough.

Always chock wheels before unhitching. If that site had a little slope you would realize why. I am guilty of not doing it once or twice. Never had an issue but......

I have now made a mental note that anytime I am unhooking the safety chains I check for chocks.

My wife keeps a journal of every trip. She keeps it in the trailer. It is interesting to go back a few years and read about a past trip. Like the time daddy got attacked by hornets nested in the electrical pedestal. My children love it.
