Ordered the new Jayflight today!

Well... after a year and a half of research and looking we finally ordered our new Jayflight 29QBS this morning! Found a local dealer 70 miles away that was $300 over the rvdirect.com price. I figured that was a fair enough price for the benefit of having a local dealership.

They said they expect to take delivery in 6 weeks. I'm thinking more like 8 weeks... Hopefully its warm enough my mid March to take the first shakedown trip. When my in-laws bought their trailer in winter of 2013 we went with them in December (in Pennsylvania) to camp with our 6 week old daughter. Not doing that again!

Can't wait til it arrives, I plan to wear the tread out on the tires!!!

Here's hoping in 6 weeks it will be warm enough! Hurry spring!

Congrats on the new trailer. I understand the wait for the trailer, we just picked up ours and now are waiting for warmer weather to shake it down.

Congratulations! We picked up our new Jayco in late November and placed it in the indoor storage facility that we use a week later. We haven't seen it all winter. Can't wait for spring! The wait to take delivery will feel eternal to you but it's worth it.

15K AC
Elite package
aluminum rims
thermal
cargo receiver hitch

No need for outdoor kitchen, don't want the weight or worry of fiberglass. Don't plan to go camping when its hot enough to need 2 AC units. Don't want the slower electric stab jacks when a power drill is WAY faster. We have an outdoor kitchen and propane grill for cooking, no need for bumper mount grill.

Ha... there is no way that I would be able to do that. My in-laws bought their first camper in 2013 and took delivery the first week of December. We went camping with them once in December... then they put it away for the rest of the winter. I don't have that patience! I made sure to time it so that I could take it out immediately and often after we bought it. The wait is going to stink... but I think it would be worse to see it out in the backyard all winter and not be able to use it.
