Ordered Today

Finally pulled the trigger this after noon. We ordered a 27DSRL with every option available this year. This is our first Jayco and I'm looking forward to this TT. Now I will be curious to see how long it will take to build her. The dealer said he was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of around 8 weeks . Do you folks think that is a close quote?

Congratulations on the new Jayco.

Our floorplan is very similar it is working very well for us. I bet it will be worth the wait.

Congratulations!

8 - 12 weeks is the typical quote for delivery. We ordered both of our units and, including transportation, they both came in at about 12 weeks. That said, It all depends on when the production run for that particular model is - our "first" WH came in at 12 weeks, but was so badly damaged during delivery the dealer wouldn't accept it. They ordered us a new one, and we had it in a month.

Congrats, Jayco's are in high demand now especially with the camping season soon winding up. We just received our new rig which took 19 weeks to deliver. Maybe you will have better luck.

Wow the wait times are getting longer and longer. 19 weeks is possibly the longest one I have heard here yet.

Great layout! We have purchased 3 new Jayco's, all were ordered to be built. The wait time was 6 weeks, 8 weeks and the last one 10 weeks. As someone mentioned depending when the run for your model camper is being done will play a part in the wait time. Also, weather for transportation can be a factor. Last year was a bad year to be pulling campers in the winter.

In the end the wait will be worth it! Waiting is part of the fun!

Hope you love Jayco as much as we do.

Billy Ray......funny you should say that. Last weekend, our local dealer had a RV show at the dealership and there we looked at probably 50 Jaycos. We looked at a Whitehawk, 27 DSRL and couldn't find one we liked more. So we decided to sleep on it and went back two days later to finalize a deal.....yep....SOLD. Only good thing about that was that now we will have one with exactly the options we want.....but with what will be a forever wait. So yes you are lucky, sir.

Congrats on the order!!

I ordered my 38FDDS November 9th, it arrived at the dealership on January 21st.
10.5 weeks. I was told 8-12 when I ordered it, so that was an accurate estimate.
I hear that all the January/February RV shows really increases the orders. Just last week my dealer told me that Jayco is running a Saturday shift to keep up with demand.

Thumbs up

Congrats on your new White Hawk 27DSRL!

We bought ours in Dec 2015 and just got it back from the dealer after fixing a few minor issues. Heading out for our second camping trip in it on Tues

Congratulations on your Whitehawk 27DSRL, we just placed our order on Saturday, said it would be the end of April, which I'm good with that. Been looking for a year and finally pulled the trigger. I'm very impressed with Jayco and this is our first travel trailer and really looking forward to it.

Congratulations. We lost our 2011 26BH to hail a couple years ago and thought we'd take a break. Now we have a granddaughter and began looking again. We had settled on a JayFlight 28BHBE for the floor plan design when we ran across a deal on an 2016 Eagle 284BHBE for less than the JayFlight. Deposit down, financing done, hitch ordered, waiting for day off with the wife to pick it up.

Happy camping

Congrats 270. Always exciting getting a new toy. That was the big reason we traded was because the floor plan we have doesn't allow for the grandkids. So we wanted a little more sleeping. This Jayco will be our first new ev though so we are really looking forward. Have a fun and safe camping season.

I think the waiting period has a lot to do with what camper models are scheduled to build. So if the 27DSRL is scheduled for next week, the wait would be short. But if it was 8 weeks out before another run was scheduled it would seem like forever.
Nice model! That's what my inlaws have. Are the new lounge chairs the reclining model?

We ordered a Jay Flight 32BHDS with fiberglass siding on 2/11. Dealer finally got production confirmation that it should roll off the line 4/14...thinking we'll see it maybe the first weekend of May. The wait is killing me!!

Congrats. We almost got that one but ended up ordering the 29REKS. Took about 9 weeks but worth the wait. Love it. Have fun.
