Our battery burned up...question about keeping it plugged in all the time

Many people live full time in there camper/Motor home/Fifthwheel and they are plugged in year around . I also stay plugged in year around, its my hang out to go watch T V are just goof off.

I'd assume some other electical problem. The OP stated that the cable ends burned through. Likely more than just the charger causing it and an evaluation of the electrical system is in order.
