our new 26BH

hi all,

We got this new 26BH after shopping for trailers forever. Very happy with our selection. Will fit our needs and tow vehicle. So we are off to adventureland. We are new to the whole trailer thing, but very excited to see where it all leads.

Thanks for all the those who contribute to this forum, it's a great source of info.

We are on our 3rd season with our 26BH and love it. Change the thermostat to a digital one that has more accuracy and less lag. For the small difference in cost no travel trailer should be built without them. We changed ours at the start of last years camping season and could really tell the difference.

This is the one I bought for our trailer. Works great with annoying blue light for when we're sleeping. No more huge temp swings!

http://www.amazon.com/Hunter-44110-S...=2EOC4FT2HZON0

I got it from amazon for $15.93 last July.

Congrats on the purchase.....you'll love it!

Anything you can share regarding the wiring would be appreciated. I'm about to do this mod myself.

I did the mod as well when I got mine...it went very easily and just pretty much went wire for wire and converted over. The color code is different, but the function is the same.

I did that mod on a previous trailer.

I added a switch so I could run high or low fan. It was a waste of energy, we ended up always running the AC on high fan.

I have pictures on another computer that I will post upon request.

Congratulations on the new TT...we bought the same unit last spring and thoroughly enjoyed getting out in it last year. Despite not having the slide we have enjoyed the layout of the trailer and find it really suits our needs well. Now you just need to get out there and enjoy your new trailer.

Honestly I could never tell the difference on mine between high and low so I just wired it to high and didn't worry about it.
