Our new camper is home.

It's finally home at Moose Hillock camp ground in nearby Lake George NY... Picked it up Thursday in Indiana and made it back Friday to set it up for the summer. I got the sway control with the camper and worked very well. We hit some crosswinds in Indiana we had to slow down to about 55, but the camper towed will at 70, I will only do 65 but have a little if needed. It's a brand new Jayco Eagle 324 BH. Got about 12.5 miles per gallon with the truck.

Very nice! Congratulations.

A couple of questions: Do you have a WDH with sway control?
As I understand it, the Jayco 'sway control' is only for situations where you are in danger of loosing control due to trailer sway; not to replace the hitch sway control.

And... Looking at the brackets on the front, I have to ask, Is your diesel truck also a TOAD!?!?

I do use wdh with no sway control. Jayco sway control is still new to me. There is a led light you can see in mirrors. The service tech had to ask. It's new in 2016 model's. The connection in front of the truck is for a snow plow.

Ah. Snow plow. I remember those when I lived in MI. Don't see them much here in AZ.

Here's a video about the Jayco sway control.

Notice that the video just briefly mentions the 'other mechanical solutions' to reduce sway. There are a few WDH that provide sway control, but not all of them. Please keep that in mind if you find sway becomes a frequent issue.

Also, be sure your TT and TV tire pressures are up the maximum shown on the sidewalls. Often just starting there will help reduce sway.
