Outside / screen door issue

I'm having a bit of an issue with our new 32TSBH and waswondering if anyone had any ideas. At first I thought the door was a little "stiff" due to being new, but doesn't seem to be loosening up any. Many times the kids, or even the wife, think the camper is locked. Many times when you do pull open the outer door, the screen door stays shut. In all of my earlier Jaycos when you opened the outer door, the screen door opened with it. I assume this is still the way it should be, but something may be out of alignment just a bit.

On the next trip I am going to try and see if the door opensany easier if I have someone inside keep the screen disengaged from the main door, but I am guessing it may still be stiff. Any other ideas?

The black plastic catch on your hard door probaly is not pressing down on the handle hard enough and might need to be lowered a little.

Or the jamb catch is too close to the door itself and needs to be moved back some. Look from the inside when shut to see if there is some room to go down on it.
