When parking camper do I leave sway bar and weight distribution arms on

You will want to leave the weight distribution arms engaged, but you need to loosen or better remove the sway control if at all possible and I will explain why in a minute. Of course this will also depend upon the brand that you have.

I have an EAZ Lift system and it has 2 weight distribution bars and a seperate sway control. One time I forgot to remove the sway control and had to make a tight turn while backing up. As a result I ended up bending my hitch a bit even though that thing is a hunk of stout metal. Now I always remove it before I back into my site. A good time to do this is when you stop to check in somewhere. I make a habit to unlock all the doors and compartments and remove my sawy control. That way once I get to my sight I am ready to back, chock, level, hook up, etc.

It depends. What WDH do you have? I have an Equal-i-zer brand WDH and I only remove mine when I disconnect the trailer.

I have a blue ox wdh and it only comes of when the trailer does but as mentioned if you have a sway bar that's separate it is better off.

Parking, how long? If overnight everything connected, if 3 days everything unhooked. Also depends on the hitch, what brand and model do you have? I have the Reese Straightline with dual cams and leave everything connected.

Looks like a separate sway bar needs to be removed...makes sense as it will be fighting you when you back in

someone in my thread mentioned removing sway bar at check in at camp sites, which is a great idea...

my next trip (first trip with new jayco tt) is a pull through so might not be an issue for me just yet LOL

Remove the friction type sway control. It's possible to bend it when backing.

I think folks are confusing parking with backing up. The two could be the same thing, but they may not be. The OP said parking. Does that include backing up?

If backing up, yes, take it off.

If just pulling into a spot as an overnighter at a Wally World or way side and parking the rig, then no need to remove the bar.

We have had EAZ Lift hitch since 1976 on travel trailers and on car haulers and have never removed or bent a sway bar. But I can't remember ever jack knifeing either to park.

Depends on parking angle. Jackknife, both sway bars removed. Lesser angle, I just lessen the tension handle so they will move free.
