peek-a-boo nitetime

The kitchen window in our TT does not have the lambaquins? on the sides, just the valance on top holding the blinds. With the mini blinds down, there is a 1 1/2" gap which provides good voyeur viewing into the bedroom at nite. DW wants the gap gone....anybody experience this fix yet? HELP save my marriage!

Just get a small curtain rod and curtain. I am sure WM or Target would have an 18" or so curtain. If not then perhaps the dry cleaner can shorten and sew it for you.

You can put the brackets up with command strips or permanent with screws.

When we traveled to Disney in July we were concerned about the heat build up in the TT. My wife bought thick fabric frm WM and a few tension rods. In no time we had them installed on the inside of the valance .

Maybe the kitchen has blinds because of cooking hazards of setting curtains on fire? If its near the stove, I would get longer blinds..

Thanks for your comments. We went with the curtain rod and a small curtain. And yes, you really can see in at nite. DW is now a happy camper.
