We found peppermint oil at health food stores. I have also seen it online. Just do a google search. It does work. Our unit is stored in a wooded area and with the peppermint we do not have mice. Prior to using the oil, we would find piles of rat poison in the blankets where they we making nests. Same thing with dryer sheets the little buggers made housing out of them. Good luck.
I ordered my source of PURE PEPPERMINT OIL from AMAZON. I think the upscale WEGMANS Store carries this item.
We have found it has to be PURE PEPPERMINT OIL to work. I always carry a handy zip bag with soaked cotton balls to use.

I stuffed my cotton balls into holes and places where I see signs of the little guys. They have poor eyesight so they will will follow the walls etc...
It is amazing how small a hole these guys can get into...
I use to catch them in a bucket. They cant figure out how to climb out of a bucket it seems... I would use a toilet roll tube and make one edge flat where it would sit over the edge of a cabinet top. Put some peanut butter in the end hanging over the edge. Then the little critter would come after the peanut butter and fall into the bucket or opened plastic trash can. Then just go empty the trash can back in the woods once a week... The peanut butter would feed them I guess until I got them throwed out into the woods.
I like the idea above about nylons. That breathes and sounds like a great idea.

I use cinnamin bark that I ordered from internet. I just scatter it in storage areas and drawer and it seems to work. Haven't seen signs since I put it out. I also use the material that they wrap rice in for weddings, can't remember what it's called, but the cinnamin bark in it and use wire hangers to hang it under the trailer, around axles and places they could use to get in. Seems to work
