Pilot lights

Just bought a 2009 Jay Flight 26BH. Although the unit is in fantastic condition, used maybe a handful of times at most, there were no user manuals included. Getting the main manual off the Jayco site was easy, but it doesnt cover specifics on the appliances.

Regarding pilot lights, I am not sure if my fridge and water heater have auto-ignition, or if I actually need to manually light a pilot. I searched the forum as well as the internet and didnt come up with a clear answer.

Go to the manufacturer site and look up a PDF for the model you have. It should give you all the answers.

It is likely Suburban or Dometic.

I have a 2009 26BH as well...love it...

If yours is just like mine, the only pilot you have to light is in the stove. Your fridge, water heater, and furnace all have electronic ignition.

Check out my signature and you will find just about every manual for that year/model in .PDF form.
