Plastic Awning Piece

We just got back from a weekend of camping and noticed the plastic awning piece that snaps together at the top is missing on one end. Anyone know where to locate a replacement? I tried Jayco RV parts catalog & sales and camping world with no such luck. Here is a pic to reference. This is for a 2017 Jayflight SLX 264BHW

Probably Lippert. I think JAYCO is using their SOLERA awning.

I was going to say Carefree of Colorado; looks similar to the unpowered end of my awning. If CofC, the brand is stamped on the arm brackets and on a label on the awning. They have parts available online.

Go to dealer and make them fix it under warranty.

I would consider this but warranty work has been a nightmare. I bought out of state and when I needed my screen door fixed, I had 1 local dealership flat out tell me "No" and with a very hostile tone, "why should we do work for you when you didn't buy from us". Keep in mind this was an actual authorized Jayco service center. Camping World would at least do the work, but they made sure to tell me that "their customers come first". I called Jayco about the first "hostile" dealership and they were really passive about the whole thing. "Well they aren't really supposed to refuse warranty work".....In which I responded by asking if they were gonna do anything about it and all they said was "I'll pass it on to my supervisor".

The dealer is well within their right to turn you down, not good PR for a future sale, but that is the RV business. They are independent dealers not franchised like auto dealers.

Why JAYCO said that is unknown.

You are correct. It's a COC Longitude. Ordered the part today
