Plugging in during off season?

Ours is plugged in all the time. When we have a house full of kids and grand kids visiting, the wife and I will "reluctantly" give up our master bedroom and move outside to our get away! I just set up our satellite, fill the fridge with cold ones and we are all set for a peaceful and quite weekend, even with a house full of kids. We have the three stage charger so not a problem on the two batteries. We just keep a close eye on water level in the batteries. We would never store batteries as we go camping every month here in South Georgia. I kept one unit for 10 years all with the original battery. I have never had to replace a battery in my units.

While the thought sounds nice, it's often a little too cold at this time of year in the mountains of PA. besides, I think the beer would freeze.



Maybe by April I might be able to try it.

Oh, BTW, I remove my battery and keep it in the basement for the winter so there's no need to plug it in.
