As a warranty item, dealer took dinette apart, glued and re-screwed. Dinette is very solid now

Wow! We've only been out once, but we had adults and kids on the dinette, and nothing went wrong with ours. When we get it back from getting another thing fixed, we'll check that, though.

This is not a Jayco issue... it is an industry issue. I have owned rigs from two different manufactures... The drive to reduce weight has made for questionable construction practices across the board. It was actually one of our reasons for making the move to the motorhome where the weight is not such an issue so the construction ends up being Beefier in nature.

Like others said... Why wait for warranty... I modify something on my rig almost everytime I bring it home.

We have a 26 BHS also, and had to strengthen the dinette. Our children probably contributed to the problem with the staples pulling out by sometimes climbing over the back of the bench.
