Have fun! I don't share your enthusiasm for that location I'd rather Be in the woods but looks like you won't have many neighbors this time of year!

I didn't realize it was $12 per night. I thought you could use your vehicle sticker ($12 for the year) to stay out on the beach...? Still a bargain though!

Did you catch anything?

The city charges the $12 permit fee, annual. County charges the $12 night fee if in the county designated area. Move 1/2 mile down and be out of county area and directly on beach...no nightly fee. But jetty is in county area. Between markers 60-65, I believe right numbers, there is no annual fee charged. The markers are 1/8 mile apart if you ever wondered. You can stay free in the national park other side of Corpus with your senior pass.

Was there 4 weeks ago. Started for two weeks at Gulf Shores Ala. S.P. Then into Louisiana and then next to Mississippi than on down to Galveston TX. And finally on around to Port Aransas. Looks as though your on the south end of the island. We watched a lot of fishing there along the deeper channel, and and up at the North end at the park to the left as you come off of the ferry. The wind was blowing the sand pretty good when we were there.

We were parked where we could watch the ferry, right on the deep jetty.
