I see you have 2 BAL stabilizer bars installed....how do you like them? I put two on my rig and I can't really tell the difference.
Fishing was okay. The kids had fun. I really like the stabilizers. This was our first trip out with this camper and my first experience with the stabilizers. There are also 2 on the opposite corner on the front. There was a very noticeable difference in the stability of this TT compared to our previous one.

Tawas Point State Park, East Tawas, MI. The park is barren in many places due to an overpopulation of Ash trees that have been removed due to the Emerald Ash Borer. Hopefully the DNR will use a bit more sense and plant a diverse mix of native hardwoods and conifers this time.

looks like the same exact trip we did with our new 28 DSBH and Ford F15 Ecoboost. We even stayed at Rafter J. What a great campground huh?

Great campground! I saw a couple of other 28DSBH/F150 combos there. I should've stopped by and said HI

Just got back from 2 weeks at Waskesiu Lake in Prince Albert National Park in Saskatchewan. First actual vacation with our new trailer. Sad to have to come back home.

I'll play. Here is our summer trip to the Pacific NorthWest

The Route:

The elevation Map:

Deschutes River, OR. on the entrance to LaPine State park

Crater Lake, OR

Hug Point near Canon Beach, OR

Mt. Rainier, WA

CoHo Campground, Olympic National Forest, WA

Hoh Rainforest, Olympic National Park

All told, 3500 miles, 2500 with the trailer in tow.

Thanks,

You can make your own here elevation graph here http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/profile_input
Just copy the url from google maps and paste it into the form

Spent 4 days in the Uinta Mts last weekend at about 10,000 ft

I might as well add the painful part of the PNW trip as well

cheers, will try that. 9.8 mpg - due to the 4,000 ft down and then back up?

Southern Idaho headed west we hit 25mph headwind.
4.5 hours in 4th gear (of 6) at 2700rpm to maintain 60 mph. 7 mpg for that stretch.
The climb to Hell's crossing campground was with water tanks full (80gal).
I live at about 5000 feet and usually go up to camp and I noticed that it definitely takes more power to push through the air at lower elevations than it does at high elevations.

The view from the back of the Jayco WhiteHawk as we sit backed in on the lake in Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores AL.....DW says there's a bunch of white sand and water over there behind those big buildings and she's itchin' to get her toes in it.....I guess I had better put the pedal to the metal and get her over there!!!!!....Last day of Summer???....First day of Fall???....really doesn't matter....looking forward to a great week on the coast!!!!
