Process steps for warranty work?

Excuse the lack of looking in manual. I am a newbie. We have a 2015 26BH. When we purchased unit and went through walk through it was very hot outside, so when we opened door the screen stayed attached. Not until first night did I notice that screen was bent. I can get screen to close with pressure but it's just not right. Do I call Jayco first for warranty work? I bought unit at Camping World out of town. I know I can take it to local Camping Work for work and I may be put towards the back of the line. What is the best way to go about it?

Are you talking about the plastic latch on the screen door? Doesn't secure it properly? Or is the whole door bent?

The door frame is bent. I can get the latch to catch but it takes pressure. I want to add a screen protector to door but don't want to do anything that might void warranty and say that I caused issue.

Do I need to call Jayco first, or will Camping World take care of it?

Any Jayco dealer can do the work. Bring it back to CW of another if its closer. Bring it in to a dealer and they will assess it and coordinate with Jayco. I only asked because I've seen it where the latch needs adjusting and it's simple, and I've seen where if the trailer is out of level somewhere the door won't properly latch either, even if it worked fine before.

A slight twist in the frame as a result of one leveling jack out of proper adjustment can cause everything to warp a little.

I always just called Camping world and they let me know when I could bring it in I never had that many issues but on a couple of them they started to get my Irish up but in the end everything was corrected.

I have a 2015 26bh also and was told by my dealer that I have a 90 day period for deficiencies found. So far I have found 5-6 things. Dealership I bought it from already has me booked for repairs and parts ordered when I get back from 2 weeks camping. Your dealership you bought it from should repair it without any issues. Look for other problems so they can all get fixed at the same time.

It's a bit like a car warranty, say a Ford. You go first to the dealer you bought it from for fastest service, alternatively to another ford dealer. You don't call Ford for ordinary warranty work.

Thanks. I bought in Anthony Texas cause I got a better deal. Don't want to drive back down there for repairs. Will take to CW here in Albuquerque.
