Protectant

What kind of protectant would y'all recommend for the rubber seal around the slide out? Is there a specific brand/type out there? We just had our 9th day of excessive heat warning and with temps in the 1-teens here in AZ, I get concerned about the rubber drying out and tearing (especially when sliding the room out). Thanks.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on my seals, and it has a number of other uses around the TT as well.

I was trying to think of what I use and all I could remember was that it's a number. 303 is what I use as well. Also use it around the door gasket and vent gasket. What other uses do you use it for?

jdorant,

I use it on my TT's outside Filon walls in lieu of waxing (apply twice a season), skylights, A/C housing, exterior plastic molding.., just about anything that can be compromised by the sun's UV. I also use it regularly on my TV's tonneau cover.
