The only non-dealer RV show in California I am aware of is in Pomona, So Cal Inland Empire. Is the RVIA national show I recall. I think it is in October if you want to make a trip

We went to the rv show in Hershey, PA this past fall and almost bought our Jayco from Camping World, which was about 4 hours from the house. We have a Jay Feather 23 BHM, which is listed at $28k. The show special was $24k. We thought it was a pretty decent deal but ended up passing on it. Went to the Pittsburgh RV show in January, they didn't have the model we wanted but said they would order it immediately. Asked for the price and was quoted $18k! And this is from a dealer that is 20 minutes from my house. We were prepared to haggle over the $24k price lol, man did we get lucky! Best part is that we took some of the remaining money we had set aside to buy it at the "RV show price" and bought a Honda generator.

Take your time and search for the best deal, you will be glad you did.

We found the deal we wanted on RV Direct. Printed out our invoice and took it to a dealer about an hour away. He did not have the unit in stock so would have to order. We told him if he matched RV Direct's price, he had a deal. We signed the paperwork and that was it. Had our unit in about 4 weeks. However, it did not come in with the 40 inch flat screen over the fireplace wall so we declined to take it. Dealer said he would order another one and we told him to make sure it came in as ordered or he would have another unit sitting on his lot. This one came as ordered. Service has been great and we are happy campers for over 2 years now. I must say, service has been excellent at this small family owned dealer as well.
