Purchasing 23MRB tomorrow

Local dealer has one in stock. Waiting till now as I thought price might be lower during winter. Will need everything! Have a 2013 Chevy Van with trailer package. Have been on this forum since May. Plan to purchase the trailer tomorrow and pick up next weekend. Any last minute advice or suggestions?

Make sure you do a thorough PDI. Use a checklist. Do not be afraid to ask any questions. Take notes. Make them earn their time. Have the dealer show you everything you need for set up and take down and then insist on them watching you do it after they show you how.
Get anything which looks weak or broken in writing.
Take notes. step by step, hook up, towing, unhitching, set up. Take notes.
Did I mention taking notes? You will be surprised and forget little things when you finally take it out to use it on your own. Make sure they set your van's hitch up correctly. Most dealerships throw in holding tank drain/emptying items. Consider purchasing better after market stuff. Insist on a good battery or two. Enjoy the new RV.

We bought the same trailer back in June. Definitely make sure they take you through a thorough inspection and ask lots of questions. We have been out three times with the 23MRB and love it. Great trailer for couples. We tow ours with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel and haven't had any trouble.

Based on the RV market historical black eye; evaluate tires (brand and track record) and consider an upgrade in the future even though they are new.

I just placed an order for a 2017.
Been building a list of accessories I need based on previous experience.
Probably will add a patio matte too.
The WDH is priced for a Curt 4 point system, still deciding. These are sized to each particular TT.
List may be helpful. I asked what they wanted for the WDH alone. Like $800 installed. I can get everything I need for less than that alone.
Happy camping.

Thank you. Interesting, I would have thought the trailer comes with a battery. Thanks!

Thanks a lot. I had most of those items on my list, but a few were new!

Your trailer will most likely come with a battery. It will also most likely be the cheapest price lowest amp hour battery they can find.

You should be able to get for about 30-34% below MSRP. My 24RSB was $25, 900, ordered for $17, 355. You can get a quick quote from RVDiect if you need negotiation tool. Fyi Doug
