Exclamation Quickly -> Trailer Sealant package?

My trailer is finally at the dealer (Camping World).

They are wondering if I'd like to pay $900 for a "sealant" package that they claim protects the outside (so that it doesn't require waxing) and also protects the fabrics inside from stains, with a 5-year guarantee.

Is this worthwhile?

Need to give them an answer in the next couple of hours.

Good enough for me, just declined it. I was suspicious already (dealers are always trying to sell you "upgrades" for various things that make them money and do little for the consumer).

:P

You can buy a load of camper wash for $900.
I declined it too!

If they would guarantee that bugs would not be splattered on the front of my trailer for five years for $900 that would be perhaps a good deal. If the bugs stuck, they'd have to wash and wax it.
