Rainer ST tires - will use thru this season

I"ve decided that will give the Rainer ST a go for this year seeing these are new on the 2015 TT, seems hard to believe that Jayco would put a crap tire on a TT. Should be putting on about 2000 miles. Just have not heard enough about these to warrent removing so soon (no reviews on Google, etc). Maybe next year after these have been around for awhile will do change depending on my and other information.

Hey Larry,

I will join you as test guinea pigs with these tires. Our new 20 MRB also has them and we will be doing 5500 miles. Hope they are up to the task.

I will join you as well. I can't see putting new tires on a brand new trailer. I already have about 600 miles on them with no issue. Will put another 3,000 miles on them this summer.

My 2015 White Hawk was delivered with Rainier ST tires. We live in CA so that means the tires had about 1500+ miles on them before we ever saw the trailer. So far I estimate we have about 2500 miles on the tires and they look great. Wear is minimal, no odd lumps or bumps that might be indicative of a broken or separated belt internal to the tire. I keep the air pressure at 50psi. So far so good.

Addendum to above: The tires on my TT are Load Range C. I keep my cruise speed ~60mph with only occasional excursions above 65 mph and never above 70mph.

Hopefully they last longer than the tow max tires that came on our new 5er last year. Have one that the center belts has already came apart on a year and half old tire, no signs of wear and we're at 9/10 tread depth . Lucky I caught it before we had a blow out, it was all ballooned out in the middle, the manufacture did take care of it with a free replacement, but scary for a new tire to have this problem.

Just put a little over 3000 miles on these tires with a trip from Kingston NY to Key West FL and back. Lost one to a puncture near the tire edge. A second one took on slices from the sheet metal on the trailer which is being repaired under warranty.
