Ready to tow my camper

I have installed timbrens on my truck. Installation took only about a half hour. Please see attached photos of before and after. Can't wait to see how they perform.

Report back on how the timbrens work out for you,i am between them and air bags right now.Only down fall I heard using timbrens with a WDH is the timbrens may create a pendulum type effect and throw your weight transfer off.At least that's what E-trailer is stating.

Was the weight causing the truck to squat too much? I am a big fan of getting weighed. The best way to see how your TT is ballanced.
The CAT Scale is your friend.

I will report back when I try them. Did not hear that about them causing an issue. When I ordered these which are rated at 6000 pound they also had a set rated at 8000pound for extreme duty. When I called timbren they steered me away from the extreme and only use the 6000 pound. The extreme are for carrying salt spreader or slide in camper all the time. Yes my truck was squatting between the loaded trailer and all the stuff my lovely wife wants to bring. I keep my weight when loading the camper spread or over the axles. But with the storage compartment up front loaded two 30 pound propane tanks and the weight of the trailer, its allot. That's why I don't understand how some of these F150 and 1500 are pulling these Eagles.

Took truck for ride first time no load. Off the curb good bang then over bumps ,truck rides like an F450 stiff rear suspension. Real test soon with camper in tow can't wait

Judging from the picture you posted, it looks like the Timbrens are too close to the bumpstops. I have at least an inch between mine and the bumpstop and I only feel a really hard bump. I'll try and get a pic.

It is hard to see, its about half inch. They said an inch to half was good. It is closer to the stop then I thought it would be. Did not drive far,but could tell the difference. I really wanna hook it up to the camper. The battery is still out, electric tongue jack, and still covered. Maybe this weekend I'll get the battery in and try it.

Ordered a set of Timbrens for the rear of my Tahoe last week. After reading reviews on the bags, it seemed like the air bags would be too much maintenance. The Timbrens you install and never worry about them again, sure you may sacrafice the ride a little when empty but air bags can get punctured, lines pop off, lines rub through, ect ect ect... Also, I have a set of the Timbrens on the front of my Tahoe also, so I figured a matching set would be better.
