Rear camera install for 2015 Jayco 27DSRL

I would like to install a rear camera on my 2015 27DSRL to make parking easier as well as safer lane changes. Anyone done this? Is there added wiring present in the middle running lamp or could I just splice into that as I would only need it when connected to the tow vehicle?
Any model camera recommendations?
Curious as to how easy this would be to accomplish.
Thanks

I just ordered a License plate mount Rear Camera system from Tadibrothers.com. I Researched a lot and ended up with this company. Should be here soon. Can't wait to test it out.

Wires to the 12V running light at the license plate and you have a wireless lcd screen in the truck with you that plugs in to the 12v outlet.

Many options on the site and lots of reviews on Youtube.

I just purchased the exact same year / model and am doing similar investigation. I hope to find a solution with two cameras, one for the trailer and one for my bumper (to make hitching easier).
Unfortunately, my wife's idea of assistance for both tasks involves waving her hands in the air as if swatting away bugs. So we see this purchase as an investment in marital harmony!
Please post what you find out and I will do the same.
I was on the phone with Camping World today and they recommended item number 82541 which looks promising. I need to do a bit more research on it, potentially including talking to the service department to determine how hard it will be to install and set up.
There is another post here titled something like backup vs. observation camera. You may be interested in the dialogue to see which might be best for your needs.

After a bit of online and in store research, I think I found a good solution.

My local car stereo shop is going to put in two of these: https://www.carid.com/concept/concep...3135839.html]]

One will go on my truck and the other on the trailer. They will also install a video switcher so I can toggle between the two.

As my truck is old, I need to upgrade the stereo, so the unit I'm getting will come with a 7" flip up screen and I'll be able to select "always on" for either of the cameras. This will enable the trailer back up camera to serve as an observation camera as well.

The owner of the shop has this setup on this truck and 5th wheel toy hauler and says it works great.

Hope this helps.
