Refrigerator

I have a 2013 Ultra Light travel trailer. When I turn on the propane & electricity
the gas & electric lights (yellow and green) just blink for hours without firing up. Then some time the next morning it starts working. Anyone know how to fix this / trouble shoot this problem ,thanks

If you are starting the fridge with propane and
if this only happens after the trailer is not used for a while,
then the best guess is that the propane supply lines have leaked down.

If the above are true, light a stove burner for a few seconds. That will fill the propane lines back from the tank to the appliances. The fridge should start soon after that. This is a common and normal occurrence.

Dave, I can only go by the fact that I had a similar issue with my former Eclipse FK19 TH. IIRC, this occurred when I removed both tanks and took them in for refill. My guess was there must have been air in the line which possibly contributed to some sort of vapor lock which had to work its way out. It eventually started working and as long as I didn't disconnect it or caught the changeover to second tank on time before totally empty, the fridge gas side would work perfectly in auto position as well as when I switched to either gas or electric manually.

Have you tried to fire up the stove, furnace or run the WH on gas to see if the line purges? Please let us know what transpires.

On my fridge (Norcold), if gas is selected and the burner does not ignite after a certain number of tries (3 I believe) the fridge will not try again until it has been turned off and then back on. As has been mentioned a good method is to use the nearest gas appliance to the fridge (cooktop in my TT) prior to starting the fridge.
