Replacing water pump - gph?

Replacing a shurflow 2.8gph 12v pump. Should I go with higher (lower) gph? Psi? Pros and Cons? Pump Brand?

Looking at a seaflo on Amazon but unsure how to determine if they are the auto-stop when pressurized. ?

Any input is welcomed.

I bought an exact model replacement for the pump on my 2014 WHawk on Amazon. I would recommend you do the same since it will be a direct swap out. As for the gph increase, you have a limited amount of water in your fresh tank so pumping it out faster only drains your tank faster. Many rv fixtures come with water restrictors to reduce water output anyway. Want more pressure in the shower then take them out.

Hi,
While GPH might be the thing that you desire, my focus would be upon the water pressure. Make sure that any pump you purchase doesn't exceed the recommended water pressure for you fittings. Spent many years in the semi-conductor industry working with pneumatics and low flow systems and our company made a lot of money when pumps were replaced with a higher pressure pump.
