Roof repair update

I posted on here a month or so ago, we had a tree branch fall on our TT and tear the rubber roof. I purchased the Dicor tape with "grey matter" technology and applied the patches. I was up there on Saturday after I winterized the TT, it is getting close to zero at night now and we have had a few frosts already. I read numerous threads, websites, etc. about not using the sealant around the patches as the patch was strong enough, but I wanted to make sure. Anyway I decided to put Dicor lap sealant around the patches, as well as some around the antenna and toilet vent. The patches were on the roof solid, it looks better and I think will make for a stronger lasting repair.

I've always wondered what I would do if I had a branch tear my roof when at the campsite. Maybe its a good idea to carry a Dicor patch kit just in case. I wouldn't want to do a red green (duct tape) job if there was the threat of rain.

Good job on the repair. We have taped all seams on the last 2 campers. The new one was taped before we left the dealers lot.
