rubber roof question

I have a 2012 29RLDS I bought new July 2012. It came with a 2 year warranty and I know that has expired. I was on my roof the other day treating it with Camco cleaner and conditioner which I do once or twice a year. I noticed a few placed where it looks like something is coming up from under the roof, looks kind of like when the sun draws nails up in wood. My question is is this normal? And is the roof warranty the same as the trailer, only 2 years? I THOUGHTI heard it was 7 years but not sure. I do not have any leaks and the roof is not torn,

You may want to call Jayco and ask what the roof warranty is, I have seen some listed as 7 years. Make sure you have your trailer VIN they will ask for it.

I just bought a 2016 32bhds and the dealer mentions that mine came with a 10 year warranty. You may be in luck. I would call them

I believe member EDAltanta stated the roof warranty wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. I think the warranty is pro rated so the newer the unit, the better it may be.

I believe only the roof membrane is warranted for several years after the 2 year warranty expires.

I had a membrane failure at 5.5 years and the roof company offered $227.00 total toward roof replacement. And only if I used their product for replacement. My dealer quoted $6,000.00 to replace the roof. I went with RV Flex Armor (rvroof.com) instead for almost the exact same price.

If you have a roof membrane past your normal Jayco warranty you have NO roof warranty. I was quoted as saying the pro rated 12 year warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on? I believe I said it wasn't worth the ink it took to print it on the paper (smile).

Either way, I will never have another rubber roof longer than it takes me to get it to a RV Flex Armor installer. No leaks, no caulking - EVER!

Am I saying I would take a brand new RV and have the roof replaced immediately? Absolutely that is what I am saying and would just consider it part of the initial cost of the RV.

Thanks for the replies. I will call them. The roof material itself is finde, but the problem I see is the nails starting to come up and push the rubber membrane up, so I would say it's a construction problem.
