Cool Saggy floor Jayfeather Sport226

Anyone have any ideas about stiffing the floor above the gray water tank?? My 2010 sport has a saggy floor and the lino is not glued down?? Dealer says it's a common problem on this model...??since the tank is under that area and there are less support beams...I have already "boosted the bathroom floor for the same reason...lack of support...been checked out several times for leaks....none found...

Its the nature of that type of floor construction more than anything. Its a wood sandwich with foam in the middle, from a construction standpoint thats a very poor floor system. About all you can do is drop the tank and add some support where you can, you should be able to use self tapping screws and add some angle iron support under the floor but it still may not remove that spongy feeling of the foam The vinyl is typical they just staple it along the edges, in homes they just glue the edge now a days not the whole floor.

I have a 2010 Sport 199 model. Had water damage and the floor above the gray tank in front of the sink was very spongy. I cut out the bad part, replaced with 3/4 ply with 1/2" alum rt angle brackets bolted into the ply. Some sanding on the ends and some putty to fill the cracks. Because of the water damage, I just ripped out all the lino and replaced with 12" lino tiles.
