Second seacond starting

Hello all. Here in the Midwest, most campgrounds are starting to open. My DW and I own a JAYCO 23RLWS. This will be our second season with it. Last season I felt that the trailer was high during leveling so I had DW placed leveling blocks under the jacks while stabilizing the trailer. Most of the sites we used were level, but the blocks were used to keep the jacks from extending too far. My question is, is there anyone else using the blocks under the jacks to keep them from going all the way down, and if so, how many? Thanks for all opinions. HAPPY CAMPING !!

Many people use lynx levelers or other lego type blocks for this purpose. Many others and us included use blocks of wood.

I have four 6x6x16 inch blocks with additional 4x4 blocks in case I need to stack higher, which I use exactly how you describe. So that my stabilizer jacks do not have to extend so far down. Stabilizers extended too far down become self defeating, losing their own stability.

Ditto here. Use 4 x 4 wood under the tongue jack with holes drilled for small rebar connections to keep stack from slipping stacked like Jinga game. Use plastic lynx levelers (less weight) under the stabilizers to keep extension to minimum.
