She said YES..............to the 314BDS!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and I have been seriously looking at the Eagle 314BDs for a couple of years now. We went to the Minneapolis RV show and spoke with our good friends at HillTop Trailer Sales about the Eagle 314BDS and they told us they had 1 left in stock which is a 2013 model.
When we asked them about pricing, they told us they have reduced the price as it is a 2013 model that has not been sold.
We then asked about trading our JayFlight 25RKS and what they would give us.
With the reduced price on the 2013 Eagle 314BDS and the great trade-in they are giving us for our 2007 JayFlight 25RKS, we could not resist the temptation.
We are signing the papers this weekend!!!!
It will be a sad day when we trade our first trailer, but we have many fond memories in that TT!!
It will also be a very happy day to get in to a bigger trailer that we needed badly with two grandkids that go camping with us several times a year.
This link is the actual trailer we are signing papers on this weekend.

We have the same trailer. One thing i would check before delivery, get in the shower.. The floor on ours was very flimsy and caused us a trip back to the dealer. They fixed it with no issues, but trying to save you a trip...
Congrats...

We have the same trailer and we LOVE it!! It's my wife and I and two kids and our chocolate lab. We have plenty of room and love the layout. Only bad thing is they just came out with a fifth wheel eagle with the same floor plan as the 314bds but will hold on to our another year or two before we go to a 5th wheel. Enjoy!!

Thank You scott220 for that advise. We plan on having our PDI done sometime in April since we are still buried in snow here in Minnesota, but I will certainly keep this in mind during the PDI.

Thanks seann45 for the wonderful comment. Now if I can convince her that I need a newer truck, she will have made 3 great choices. I think the truck is going to be a bit more difficult and may take more time.

That is AWSOME to hear. We have a 2013 314BDS it is an awsome travel trailer. You are going to love it. The only thing I am not crazy about is the lack of outside storage. With that said my lovely wife loves the outside kitchen. Happy wife happy life LOL. I like the outside kitchen also. The 314 will be heavy for your F150 wieghing almost 10,000 pounds and the tounge wieght of almost 1000 pounds. Then there is the loaded gear in the front compartment and under the bed. This is the only real storage on the trailer. Also watch when you take a shower you will get water from the shower on the floor. Look it up there is a great fix on here with some curved plastic molding that I did and it worked great. Best of luck with your new trailer they are an awsome model.

The plastic molding for the shower was not my idea. Got this from a post on here and it worked great.

X2 on Donedroolin's advice above. I have the exact same trailer (same interior and everything - purchased in June 2013 for same price) and the 314BDS is an extremely heavy trailer (my UVW was 8180# from the factory and fully loaded is about 9600# - Tongue weight is 1200+ with the front storage compartment loaded). My advice would be be to get to a CAT scale as soon as you can to verify you're not over your F-150 limits.
Congrats on the new trailer (and talking the wife into it ) - hope you like yours as much as we love ours

Congrats on the new camper. Just a couple of comments though. We've had several Expeditions with the 5.4 and tow package. They all came with a Class III hitch. Our trucks are larger, so I don't know what the 150 comes with but if it's a Class IV those are rated at 1000# TW. You're going to be around 1200 after you've moved in. That calls for a Class V. Finally, those brown caps are really handsome, but we've got two here in our park, neither is two years old yet and both are fading. FWIW, a former mechanic at a local Jayco dealer tells me "they all fade." Jayco authorized a repaint for one member of this forum, so you might want to discuss that with the dealer.
