She's all mine

Made the last payment last week, and just got the title in the mail. Not super exciting for everyone else, but it makes me happy!

Nah. Building a house and we break ground next week, weather permitting.

I bought mine in August '13. Get on it, and it will be done in no time.

NICE, congratulations! Our first camper we paid cash. Then we had 2 kids and simply outgrew the camper. Despite my objections, we bought a new 2015 Jayco and put it on our home equity LOC. It is our intention to pay it off within 5 years, but I think we technically have 30 years and its a pretty low interest rate... Then we quickly determined that our new trailer was too much weight for our old truck. We bought a used 2015 Ram to pull the trailer. 5 year loan on that thing too...

Nothing more enjoyable than driving your paid off truck and pulling your paid off camper to your vacation destination.

Now there will be more money for the new property and house.

Congratulations!

Congrats! Feels great to have one less debt. But what did you pay off? The Jayco or the Ram?

Derp. Guess I should have mentioned that! The Jayco. The RAM will be paid off before we close on the new mortgage(September-ish). 15 yr mortgage that will be our only debt, and we should knock it out in 5.

I must be getting old. I'm more excited by being debt free than having something new.

That sounds suspiciously like a BS2 debt snowball. We did that a couple years ago, on steps 4,5,6 concurrently now. The mortgage is the only debt left, I can't wait till its gone too, just a few more years. Goal is 100% debt free by 45.

You might be right, except I went against Dave's order of things. All our debt was super low interest, so we worked on 2&3 concurrently. You can't be too careful in this economy.
