Shortlist...I hope. Jayflight or Eagle SL

The shortlist: Eagle SL 304BHK or 284BHS---doublesize bunk or outdoor kitchen.

Jayflight: 28BHS

Input?

There are a bunch of happy 28BHS and 29BHS (basically the same) owners here on the forum. The Jayfeather 28R also has the same floorplan, just more pricey and less CCC.
The Eagles offer more amenities that come of course at a price.

Not a fan of the outdoor kitchen - loss of storage space, plus if the campsite slopes downward and after leveling the outdoor kitchen door will be lower and one might bump there head. IMO prefer the fiberglass siding and would be looking towards the Eagle lite 284BHS.

We bought the G2 32BHDS a couple months ago and love it!

I didn't think the outdoor kitchen was that big of deal, and thought I would prefer the extra storage. We love the outdoor kitchen and get more compliments, even from Class A owners, every time we camp at RV parks.

The best thing about the outdoor kitchen, other than having a nice outdoor bar & coffee maker location, is when you are done grilling and eating dinner, you can toss all the perishables in the outdoor frideg, and kick back. It makes dinner clean up so fast and easy.

Good luck with your decision!

Outdoor kitchen ..NOT FOR ME...

I would be more concerned about the length... will the longer one you are looking at fit in the campgrounds you want to go to... When I got my Jayco Eagle 30 RLS I could no longer fit in my favorite campground... Ohh the site is long enough but there is no swing room for the front of the tow vehicle.
