Shower Grab Handles

I purchased some grab handles for our shower walls and they have suction cups that I can't get to hold. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
We have a 2012 26RLS.

Sorry Don, no suggestions. But I like the grab handle idea. Our shower is raised up so a handle would really help us old folks get down. Thanks for the idea.

my shower surround has a texture to it so suction cups wouldnt stick but I would be afraid that i would pull the whole surround off as its just held up with a couple of pins and double sided tape.

I have puzzled this one and decided that will have to be secured to a stud for proper support and security. It should be easy to find them and attach with a properly sealed screw.

Thanks for the response. That's exactly what I've run in to with our shower. Walls won't allow the sticking. I've thought about, and might use, some spray poly on that small area. Guess I will rough it up a little before spraying on the poly.
