sign of battery going bad

How do we know if the battery has gone bad if we are always connected to 30 amp 110v service?

In my case, when I unpluged from shore power the voltage dropped under 12.6 after a couple of hours, so I bought a tool the mesure the specific gravity of the water in the battery and I was able to see that one of the cell was not charging.

ok does that mean that as long as we are connected to shore power, we are ok even with imperfect battery?

If you smell a rotten egg smell then I would check your battery's.

You are not connected to shore power when you are on the road... the battery is necessary to power the breakaway switch... but for you, you don't need the biggest and best battery .. and small battery will do.
