Simple Green
I'm just curious if anyone uses "Simple Green" to clean their rubber roof? If so what kind of results are you getting and are there any adverse affects? I've read where quite a few folks use Spic and Span. Is this a liquid cleaner or powder cleaner?
Thanks!

No chemist here, but I believe Simple Green is slightly corrosive ( can attack aluminum ). Probably not real strong. And if diluted, even weaker.

Not sure if simple green is bad for the roof. I use Dawn dish soap with good results. Simple Green removes blacks streaks.

Spic-n-Span is a liquid that you dilute with water. Available at Dollar General and Amazon.

I have used dry Spic & Span. I just wet a 3 x 3 area, sprinkle it on, wash and rinse. Be sure and rinse it off the sides or it will leave white streaks .
Lately I have been using a spray cleaner from Walmart in the camping section.
it's Thetford Rubber Roof Cleaner and Conditioner. I use it the same way, spray a small section, scrub with brush and rinse.

I have used Spic and Span powder for years with good results. It's gets the roof white again. Some areas need a second scrub if they are really dirty. Simple green is pretty aggressive right out of the bottle.

Simple Green is a liquid cleaner. It is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flamable, non-caustic, and non-abrasive. It can be diluted with water for the not-so-tuff jobs. I have used it for years with great results. My vehicles, dirt bikes, atv's, rc cars, siding.... Even the travel trailer.

I use a diluted combination of Simple Green (or Purple Power), bleach, and a bit of regular car wash soap w/ wax added (TurtleWax). Add some elbow grease and voila:

WOW
I looked at the picture first and thought you used that roll on rubber roofing.
That looks like new.
