Skylark plumbing

Has anyone had challenges with the low clearance of the plumbing manifold on the Skylark? We traveled the Alcan with our trailer and live in Alaska. On two occasions we have experienced damage due its extreme proximity to the ground. I'm considering re-engineering it to give better ground clearance. We are often off paved surfaces with camping in Alaska. Any ideas?

Have not yet experienced any problems, but the dump pipe hangs real low. Most campground sewers are higher. Have got a macerator pump to cure this problem since it pumps uphill. If you are successful in solving that problem would like to know what you did. One person on this forum lifted his trailer 4 inches. Good Luck

After our most recent cross-country trip, I considered purchasing more Lynx leveling blocks to raise the camper height at parks where the sewer connection is more than an inch or two above ground level. However, that would make the single fold-down step even more challenging to negotiate. We plan to replace the single step with a two-step unit before our next journey.
