I contacted Jayco with my "vin" and they told me not to install one on my 26 RLS. I think because it was not framed for one but they were a bit vague. You might want to call Jaco.

I could be wrong but over the slide if there is a channel screwed to the trailer then the trailer is set up for toppers.

I wish I knew the reasoning because I had every intention of doing an installation but Jayco said not to install a topper. I called a couple of times to talk to more than one advisor.

Thumbs up

Put a topper on the slide of my 23MBH, excellent add-on. Makes camping in the PAC Northwest a bit nicer. I don't have to climb on the roof to remove pine needles or standing water off the top. Once it closes we have very minimal amount of water to wipe off it. Went to the dealer, had them do it. It was about the same price as Camping World ($600 and change).

I had one installed by the dealer on my 2010 28bhs, keeps the debris off the top of the slide. Glad I had it put on
