Slide wiper seal

O.K; now I have another problem with my 2012 Jayco 29 RLDS. The wiper seal on the large slide that is attached to the trailer is falling apart. I guess there are small metal teeth in it that grab onto the metal strip to hold it in place, well the teeth are rotten and half are broken. So I have to replace the seal.
I have a question for anyone that has done this before.
How hard is it to do?
Is the seal 1 piece that goes all around the slide?
Any helpful hints om installing it?
Thanh's in advance for any help you can provide

Did you check YouTube ? It's got to be fairly easy, just look at who put it on!

I did check you tube, found a couple but not the type with the teeth like our trailers have.

On YouTube there's that RV site with Gary Bunzer( think that's right) shows all kinds of RV repairs and fix-it's.

I will check it out.
I went to an independent RV shop today and he said he would suggest replacing that Jayco seal with the teeth in it for the regular sweeper seal. He said he would take off the old seal and track and replace it with all new stuff for about $300.
This would probably last longer and be easier to replace in the future if needed.
I also went to my Jayco dealer and he said the seal runs about $3.00 a foot and it was an easy install but agreed that water gets in it and the teeth rust in short time. So I guess I will spend the $300 and get it fixed right.

For that to fail in 2-1/2 years is just not right.

I think Jayco knows this happens because on top of the slide they put a channel to try and keep the water out but that doesn't always work.
