Slideout Roof Ripples

So I was inspecting my slideout roof and noticed some ripples in the black "tape" securing it, and the rubber roof on top of it. See the pic and let me know if this is "normal" or should I add it to the warranty list? Also I noticed the black tape near the closest edge in the pic is peeling back?Click image for larger version

The ripples in the rubber roof is totally normal however I would have the tape fixed where it is rolling up on the corner.

My slide has ripples like that too. I have seen other posts where people state that the tape on the slideout roof is just short enough that the weatherstripping drags against it, which causes the tape to pull up. If the tape was an inch or 2 wider, the weatherstriping wouldn't pull up on the edge.

I haven't noticed my tape pulling up, but if I do I will simply add a 6" or 8" wide Eternabond strip the entire length of the slideout. That should prevent any more peeling.

Any suggested tape I can use to prevent it from getting worse? Or would that void warranty?

As spoon said, you can use EternaBond tape...that will solve the problem. If you are still under warranty, I would let the dealer fix it cuz EternaBond is a little pricey. My dealer fixed mine under warranty.

How long did it take to look like that? I know the roof membrane can have ripples. I almost expected our new camper slide roof to be. It's actually tight and smooth. The tape is tight also. Just wondering if it may start to look like this if yours started nice and straight...

What is that black product on the outside? Did you add some duct tape or something.
I would either fix it or have the dealer fix it if in warranty,

Mine has a white tape on it. It has a few puckers but is not loose or leaking.
