Solar sunscreens

Anyone installed them on your tt. In 3 weeks i take my tt to the lake where it will sit for 6 months, bought some solar screens to put on the windows to cut down on the heat since the campground doesnt have many trees. Gonna use snaps to put it on when i get there. Just wondering if anyone else has done theirs and does it make a difference. I just installed a 7 day programmable thermostat so the camper will be cool when wr arrive on fridays. The back pf the trailer just feels so much hotter in the heat of the day (314bhds). Hoping the sunscreens will help out. I have installed on some west facing rooms on my house and it made a big difference. Thanks all

Had them on all the windows on our Heartland trailer. A little expensive but they did a good job on keeping the trailer cooler. One thing that I noticed is that the trailer is a little darker with the screens on, but it was a lot harder to see in also. Not sure if we are going to put them on the Jayco. See we do most of our camping Sept thru May. June, July and August the trailer is in the back yard. Hope this helps. Later Ernie

I "limo tint" the windows.. reflects heat and makes it harder to see inside..

We had solar sun screens on our Carriage 5th wheel. They did a good job keeping the heat out. I installed them with snaps. I am going to put them on our 330rlts one of these days.
